Texans’ Clowney: Return from injury was hard work, but worth it
Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing has the ideal personality for Hard Knocks. “I did it twice”, Cushing said. The Houston Texans’ first episode of Hard Knocks was a tough act to follow.

Clowney was the top overall pick in last year’s draft.
Because of his abbreviated season he doesn’t really feel as if it’s his second year in the NFL.
“To be honest with you, he doesn’t talk like that when he’s home at all“.
O’Brien was encouraged by Clowney’s work on Monday and touched on the plan for him moving forward.
“And the one thing about him is, he’s a bright football player”.
Clowney began camp on the Texans’ PUP list following microfracture surgery on his right knee in December. Fellow rookie Carlos Thompson was there, though, to tell Trail that he can go out and get ’em next time (he’s obviously been taking to O’Brien’s lessons, but it’s still nice to see rookies try to help each other out).
“We do a little bit more each day with him, and so far, so good”, O’Brien said after Clowney’s third team practice, according to the Houston Chronicle. “Just to be back out here”. Cushing takes a knee to the side of the drill, removes his helmet, and then sprays an angry combination of sweat and saliva mist from his mouth, a la Triple H during his ring entrance ritual.
But he also had some fun, laughing and joking with teammates and at one point doing a spirited rendition of both the “Whip” and “Nae Nae” dances as Silento’s song “Watch Me” blared from speakers near the field.
O’Brien has stated the team won’t rush Clowney back onto the field.

So, it’s still a little jarring when an athlete – whether he’s trolling or not – blithely insults half the population, many of whom are fans of the sport he plays.
