Logan Finallyfree Hale responded to Polk County deputies on their Facebook page, after they posted a picture of the wanted man.

By the evening, he had received a public reply, with the sheriff’s office posting: “You would be wise to turn yourself in”.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, both Hale and Tyler Thornton, 20, burglarized a home in Lakeland area August 3.
A wanted Florida man has been mocking the cops that are looking for them-on their own Facebook page.
The Facebook post has gotten over 300 comments with some people supporting Hale’s run and others encouraging Hale to turn himself in to authorities.
But instead of handing himself in, he changed his name on Facebook to Logan “FinallyFree” Hale.
The teacher, Mary Lynn Higgs, said that Logan was a polite boy back when he was her student.
The Facebook post said: “Around 5pm today, Hale was seen by two PCSO deputy sheriffs who were actively searching for him – Hale was a passenger in a vehicle driving on Wildwood Drive in Lakeland. Or give us a call – we’ll be happy to provide transportation”, the department wrote. Judd said Hale and an accomplice, who was already in custody, were the suspects in an armed burglary, grand theft of a firearm, giving false information to a pawn broker, and dealing in stolen property.
“Logan Hale, you are on your way to jail”.
Polk Sheriff Grady Judd posted an update on Facebook Thursday offering a reward for information that would lead to his arrest.

The original comment, which has since been deleted, was posted the same day as the status and a friend of Hale’s responded with a comment about how shocked he was at Hale’s risky actions. You can download an app for iPhone and Droid to anonymously report crime.
