Army officer managed to land safely after his parachute failed at the height of 5000 feet
This was the incredible escape from the death, as the army officer whose parachute failed to open at the height of 5000 feet above the ground, managed a successful landing.

According to the report, the army officer, Arnulfo Gamarra, 31, from Peru, was in training period when he jumped from the plane with his parachute but soon after the jump he realized that his parachute’s one of the strings failed to extend properly, caused to fall unconscious.
Incredibly the only injury he suffered as a result of the accident at the Vitor airbase is a sprained ankle.
He immediately taken to the hospital, where he found perfectly alright.
However, an investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
