If Dareus does get the franchise tag, he’ll make somewhere around $12 million next year, and then hit free agency or get the franchise tag again (with a 20 percent raise) in 2017. Pryor, drafted in the third round by the Raiders in 2011, had shown promise early in training camp, but injured his hamstring August 4 and reinjured it Monday in a joint practice against the Bills.

But you know what in that, obviously that’s his business and that’s his agents and our team and things like that. Last season, Dareus finished with 10 sacks anchoring the middle of one of the league’s top defensive lines. The one noticeable difference: Suh racked up 222 quarterback pressures in that time, almost 80 more than Dareus, and he did it while playing two fewer games. They’re playing. They’re going back and forth. “I might settle for those numbers, but I’m not sure”. “There’s not really much I can do. I know what I’m worth”.
Dareus is suspended for the first game of the upcoming season as a result of a May 2014 arrest, in which he was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
