Trump says Fox News chief promised him fair coverage
Megyn Kelly is standing by what she asked Donald Trump is the first GOP presidential debate. “Roger Ailes just called”, Trump tweeted Monday. He is a great guy & assures me that “Trump” will be treated fairly on @FoxNews. If the network pushes too hard against Mr. Trump, it risks being seen as part of the mainstream media, rather than the antidote to it. “We had a blunt but cordial conversation and the air has been cleared”, Ailes added. And while what Donald Trump said about megyn Kelly is outrageous, what the rest of the republicans are saying about all women is also outrageous. Despite the appeals, campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks said that Trump will continue to finance the campaign, but has “been overwhelmed by unsolicited contributions”.

“This is a tough business, and it’s time now to move forward”, Kelly said, Us reported.
“I do whine because I want to win and I’m not happy about not winning”, Trump said on CNN’s “New Day” on Tuesday.
Trump said he’s still ironing out the particulars.
Trump’s feud with Kelly and Fox reached new heights last Friday when, amid a series of interviews, he made a comment that numerous critics have interpreted as a lewd reference to menstruation. So I’ll continue doing my job without fear or favor.
Trump continued his criticism of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who quickly backtracked after telling a gathering of Southern Baptists in Nashville last week, “I’m not sure we need half a billion dollars for women’s health issues”.
Trump is scheduled to return to the network Tuesday, with appearances on two of the network’s shows, “Fox & Friends” and “Hannity“, a Fox News spokeswoman said. Trump was able to say those words as describing Kelly’s interview during the debate wherein she asked him about him insulting women as “fat pigs and dogs”.
They rose to their feet and cheered when the announcer declared: “The next president of the United States …”

Kelly addressed the Trump dust-up on-air Monday night.
‘This wasn’t meant to be much of an insult’.

Trump’s declaration came after a senior advisor told ABC News on Monday that the real estate mogul was considering taking the pledge not to run on another party’s ticket if he doesn’t earn the Republican nomination.
