Over continues to cash when Blue Jays face Angels — Hot Betting Trend

As expected, Russell Martin wasn’t in the Blue Jays’ starting lineup for Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Angels.

The Toronto Blue Jays continued their strong play on Saturday as they clobbered the Angels.

“His consistency and the quality of hit at-bats, no matter how they pitch him it seems like he’s always ready to hit what’s coming – it’s impressive”, said Bautista. He was wrong. He struck out four and walked four.

Closer Huston Street took 26 pitches to retire the Blue Jays in the top of the ninth, after which he threw his glove in the dugout and unleashed some verbal fury.

“This is still one of those deals I’m trying to process”, Salmon, who batted. Mad at the game, mad at… “There are times when it gets a little long and you try to stay loose”. There needs to be a sense of urgency. “So, you know, I wanted to challenge him. Just because it’s time”.

Andrew Heaney (5-2) had the worst start of a solid rookie season for the Angels, yielding eight runs and seven hits. The play brought home two runs, and even though he had to slide, Victorino was charged with an error for missing the catchable ball. Tropeano was promoted to start Thursday night’s game against the Chicago White Sox but lasted only 4 1/3 innings in an 8-2 loss. “Most everything was up around the belt”. The right-hander also amassed 15 strikeouts while yielding just three walks in 19 innings.

Heaney walked three in that fourth inning. He has allowed three earned runs in each of his past three starts, none of which lasted less than six innings.

Donaldson’s two-run single and Bautista’s two-run triple off the right-field wall were the big hits.

There are a handful of Toronto Blue Jays players to have reached 100 RBIs faster than Josh Donaldson, but what’s worth considering here is the context around his arrival at the century club for the first time in his career. “We just took a picture with Albert Pujols, Mike Trout, (Kole) Calhoun, all those guys”. Designated hitter C.J. Cron hit his 10th homer of the season, a solo drive over the center-field fence.

“Fifteen runs is extreme, but we’ve been doing it all year”, Toronto manager John Gibbons said.

Santiago (7-7) couldn’t come back from a 48-pitch first inning. But it was a great moment. “The moral of the story is I didn’t get my job done, and it cost us a win”.

Cam Bedrosian, who relieved Heaney in the fourth, did not fare well, either. Dickey is 3-1 with a 4.06 ERA in 25 career appearances (nine starts) against the Angels, including a complete game on May 21 in which he allowed four runs and five hits. The Angels have been outscored by a combined 32-7 in their last three games, dropping them into third place in the AL West and the wild-card standings behind Texas.

They also remained a half-game back of the New York Yankees for the AL East lead. Revere walked on four pitches, Colabello scored, D.Navarro to third, Pillar to second. Right fielder Jose Bautista and first baseman Chris Colabello each had three of the Blue Jays’ 20 hits. But as the pennant races near the end, if Trout or Donaldson are able to get hot and carry their team into the playoffs it will be a big impact on the MVP award.

“Hopefully we’ll get to a few video games and switch the spouse and youngsters into Jays followers”, Moulson stated. “We’re feeling pretty good right now”. “We haven’t pitched well this series, and on the offensive side, we’re still waiting”.

“But that’s only one game”. “It would be nice to come out and get one more win tomorrow, finish this thing off. Garrett Richards going, so that’s no easy task”.

1 run, 2 hits, 1 error, 1 left on. The Jays are far more talented than the Angels.

Troy Tulowitzki had only played two series at Angels Stadium before, but he had two home runs in them
