Irish golfer Paul Dunne has bowed out of the US Amateur Championship at the quarter-final stage after being beaten 3&2 by Bryson DeChambeau.

Neither player held more than a one hole lead throughout the match and Crocker, who now set to improve from his current ranking of 66th in the world didn’t get his first lead until a birdie on 14.

Bryson DeChambeau is just one victory away from winning a golfing double after reaching the U.S Amateur final.

Three-down after 10 holes, Bard gained Nos.

“To be in that group of players would be incredible, but I still have work to do”, DeChambeau said, who would join Jack Nicklaus, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Ryan Moore as the only players to achieve the double.

“I know how to write my name backwards and left-handed in cursive and I can sign it pretty well”, DeChambeau said Saturday after his 4-and-3 semifinal win over Sean Crocker.

“It’ll be a fun battle”, DeChambeau said of the title match.

Crocker is taking a simple approach into his semifinal against DeChambeau. Crocker stated. “I really feel like if I can play my recreation, hit the photographs like I need to hit them, I can sustain with anybody out right here”.

“Stay patient”, Bard said.

Bard won the 12th, 14th and 15th holes to go 3 up after Konishi bogeyed the 12th and 15th. “Bryson has had an incredible career so far. “5-under par is tough to maintain up with on a U.S. Open golf course”.

Konishi is making an attempt to develop into the primary Japanese victor in event historical past. “I didnt think Id be doing that at age 20.”.
