Josh Nichols, supervisor of Haywood County Dispatch, said no one was injured or inside the church when shots were fired.

The coroner has been called in after a man exchanged gunfire with officers at a North Carolina church Wednesday afternoon, officials say. When deputies arrived, they found only Baker inside.
Police said a single unidentified man was in the church when gunfire was exchanged between them.
The State Bureau of Investigation was asked to investigate the shooting, standard protocol when an officer fires a weapon.
According to the Haywood County Emergency Management office, there was a call about shots fired at the Maple Grove Baptist Church at 3:12 p.m., said Assistant Director Bill Miller.
Several agencies responded to the scene, including the SBI.
What officers were involved and how many are also questions there are no answers to right now.
The pastor of the church tells FOX Carolina that the suspected shooter was not a church member.

Since it was an active crime scene, there was not a typical Wednesday night service at Maple Grove Baptist Church.
