Comments from Logan Finallyfree Hale taunt deputies, saying, “HELLO here I am…” and “Deputies continue to look for me but Are frustrated that i am unable to be located…”
As of 7:45 a.m. Thursday, August 20, the Polk County Jail Booking website says he is not there.
The Facebook post said: “Around 5pm today, Hale was seen by two PCSO deputy sheriffs who were actively searching for him – Hale was a passenger in a vehicle driving on Wildwood Drive in Lakeland”.
With their success in capturing the fugitive, Sheriff Grady Judd described Logan’s taunts on Facebook as an epic fail. “He was spotted by deputies before he was able to do so”.
The sheriff’s office, which had offered a $500 reward for information leading to his arrest, responded, suggesting that Hale would be wise to turn himself in, according to ABC affiliate WFTV. As the NY Daily News reports, Logan’s ninth grade teacher commented on the #FelonFridays post about him.
“What kind of goofball are you?” the sheriff quipped.
Cops have caught Tyler Thornton who Hale was allegedly working with, and stepped up their efforts to ensnare Hale, which resulted in him being taken into custody on Thursday night. “863-298-6200”.
Sheriff Grady Judd finished off his department’s banter on Facebook with a short rhyme.
Police said Hale has been charged with armed burglary, grand theft of firearm, grand theft over $10,000 and dealing in stolen property.
He’d even changed his profile name to “Logan Finallyfree Hale”.
The sheriff’s office posted Hale’s picture to alert the public and ask people for information.
