More Democrats crack open door for Biden’s run

It’s unclear what the two Democrats discussed as the offices of Biden and Warren wouldn’t comment on the meeting, leaving politicians and pundits speculating about the prospect of his late entry into the race. Elizabeth Warren at his Naval Observatory home on Saturday night, immediately sending speculation through the roof that he is getting closer to announcing a presidential run. Ted Kaufman, as well as with his grandson, Hunter Biden, and his sister, Valerie Owens Biden, who has played a key role in all his previous campaigns. If Biden’s not in by October 1, it can possible be too late, individuals who have spoken to Biden lately stated.

But what if Clinton’s perceived weakness draws other candidates into the race even as she remains?

Biden would also be a “clear underdog” were he to enter the race, the Wall Street Journal reported. Plus, if Biden is able to convince those who have been trying to draft Warren to work for him, it would give him some much-needed infrastructure that could help the vice-president catch up with Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

In effect, Biden is doing what 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney did at the start of 2015, when he semi-publicly considered a candidacy. That’s not enough time, which suggests he might skip the caucuses and put most of his effort into knocking Clinton off in New Hampshire.

He probably won’t win the nomination, but his entire platform will be firmly, if not openly, embraced by the whole party, or at least by everyone who has “evolved”. The case for Clinton, in short, is this: Party leaders still overwhelmingly support Clinton over any other contenders; the impressive crowds that Clinton’s chief rival, Sen.

“No, it is a compliment to Vice President Biden for also being a lifelong Democrat”, O’Malley said, adding that he has “a great deal of respect” for Biden and thinks he is a “very, very good and decent man”.

“You’ll have to let the vice president talk about that”, Alcorn, a former adviser to Biden’s recently deceased son, Beau, said.

Biden’s team has said it’s optimistic about his prospects in South Carolina, which holds the third primary contest and where Biden has deep political roots. Every Republican candidate is younger than Clinton and some – Sens.

Last week, Quinnipiac University released a poll that was damning for her in three important states – Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
