More Democrats crack open door for Biden presidential run
It was all enough to make Mediaite declare: “Let’s All Start Wildly Speculating About Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren’s Private Meeting”.

Vice President Joe Biden held an unscheduled, secretive meeting with Elizabeth Warren on Saturday, fueling gossip that he’s going to campaign for President.
Josh Alcorn of Draft Biden 2016 declined to speculate when asked by guest host Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday”.
The vice president arrived in Washington shortly before lunchtime, even though his official schedule said he was planning to spend the weekend at his home in Delaware.
Biden press secretary Kendra Barkoff didn’t deny the meeting, nor did she point to any official government business that would have been discussed.
The 73-year-old independent senator from Vermont seeking Democratic nomination is drawing huge crowds everywhere with his tirade against the “billionaire class” and fast closing the gap with Clinton in the polls.
Joe Biden seems to be readying himself for a Presidential campaign.
The California Democrat said the controversy surrounding her email use is indeed a significant problem for her.
She said that his entry would instantly change the dynamic of the Democratic primary, brushing aside the potential hurdles of fundraising and building a campaign infrastructure. She retains the vocal support of many in the liberal wing of the Democratic Party, making her endorsement one of the most highly sought in the primary.
The former Maryland governor Martin O’Malley on Sunday welcomed the prospect of Vice-President Joe Biden running for president in 2016, saying it would be good to have another “lifelong Democrat in the race”.
Steve Schale, who directed President Barack Obama’s two campaigns in Florida, told CNN, “Frankly when it became clear that he was giving the race serious consideration, I just raised my hand”. She has said she does not plan to run for president herself, but she has not endorsed Mrs Clinton or any other Democratic candidate. Part of the Biden argument, if he launches, would be on his record of middle-class values, and Warren could help him graft that to the support she’s generated among progressives, particularly younger ones, for taking on the banks and speaking out on income inequality.
Spending time with Biden in Delaware were longtime Biden confidantes Mike Donilon and former Sen. Biden’s expected to make his final decision on a run in the next six weeks. Tom?
According to a New York Times article by veteran journalist Maureen Dowd published earlier this month, when Biden’s son, Beau, realized that he would not survive brain cancer, he talked to his father and urged him to challenge Clinton. Biden “traveled last minute” to Washington today for the private political meeting with Warren, the sources said.
Larry Weil, a Democratic activist from Salem, said he’s backing Bernie Sanders, and feels like Biden entering the race could hurt his candidate.
