Delhi Metro Rail Corporation To Conduct Customer Satisfaction Survey

Delhi Metro which is touted to be the safest commuter vehicle for female passengers in the national capital on Sunday faced criticism after a video of a drunk policeman onboard went viral on the social media.

The 36-second clip showing the policeman with his shirt untucked roaming inside a metro, was shared over 6,000 times in Facebook at the time of writing this report.

Scrolling through the Facebook posts, we caught hold of a video rather a shocking video of a police personnel travelling in metro in a sloshed state.

In a bid to improve its services, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will be conducting a customer satisfaction survey between August 24 and September 1, except for weekends.

“If a person is in uniform, he is allowed to travel in metro if he is in senses”, a CISF official said, adding, the issue is being looked into.

The third edition of the survey, which was also conducted in the year 2013 and 2014, will cover over one lakh passengers spread over 50 metro stations and inside the trains, the DMRC statement said.

“The video is yet to be verified”. The matter is being investigated by the Delhi Police.
