Charles Barkley on 2016: ‘I Would Probably Vote for John Kasich’
“Pro-life voters, especially most Republican primary voters, do not accept Roe as the law of the land”.

His poll numbers never recovered from the George Washington Bridge scandal, and are now at historic lows at home.
Barkley, a native Alabaman who has flirted in the past with running for the state’s governorship, said he was not surprised that Donald Trump attracted 30,000 people to a rally in Mobile Friday night.
“Right now I like John Kasich, the governor of Ohio”, the retired basketball star said on ESPN’s “Mike & Mike Show” Wednesday.
The Times praises Kasich for having “surprised and disarmed some former critics on the left with his championing of Ohio’s disadvantaged, which he frames as a matter of Christian compassion”.
But Perry made the most direct hit on Kasich’s record, specifically on Ohio’s decision to expand Medicaid eligibility.
“We have 16, 17 high-quality people“, he said. “He’s inclusive, he’s open and highly practical, and a successful governor”.
He’s the son of an “opinionated” mother and had political ambitions at an early age – much like Christie.
And – again – Kasich’s not king.
Ninety-nine percent of the time I vote Democrat, but there’s not a Democrat in the race that I like.
Kasich also endorses “affirmative action”-but not “quotas” (as if there’s a real difference)”. But, even if they were all united, would their cries carry to a national audience?
The organization Americans for Peace, Prosperity and Security says it’s hosting the Ohio governor during the August 31 event at Lawrence Technological University in the Oakland County suburb of Southfield.
“There was a lot of conversation on Facebook because it is insulting…To hear teachers being treated as Public Enemy Number One is disturbing, but when you hear it from your own governor, it’s disheartening”, she said.
Kasich jumped into the presidential race near the end of July and managed to secure the final spot on the debate stage in Cleveland, Ohio, earlier this month.
“Now they are pulling out the other ace in the hole, which is immigration”.
Christie’s flip on Common Core standards even cost him donors, according to a recent report in the Wall Street Journal. He holds onto second place in New Hampshire by 0.3 of a percentage point, according to RealClearPolitics average of New Hampshire polls.
With these big-hearted positions, it was a surprise to see Kasich turn retrograde in his comments a few days ago at an education forum.
The move from March 8 to March 15 shifts Ohio from a state where delegates are essentially awarded to the winners in each congressional district to a victor take all scenario.

Walter said primary voters cast their ballots based on two things: ideology and electability. Rubio said the American economy is undergoing a shift like the Industrial Revolution, and Republicans can’t stick to ideas and candidates of the past.
