Fetty Wap Scoffs At Rumors He Was Jumped In DC

Fetty Wap has a message for blogs spreading a rumor that he had been robbed at a Washington D.C. gentlemen’s club on Saturday (Aug. 22). It is a feat that heavyweights such as Kanye West, Jay Z, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, Drake, 2 Chainz, Eminem and T.I. never accomplished. You can check Billboard Hot 100 for the proof.

Hits by Wap, whose real name is Freddy Maxwell of Paterson, New Jersey, include “Trap Queen” and “My Way“.

With “Trap Queen” still on the charts after 15 straight weeks at No. 2, “My Way” ft.

However the release of his new track “Again” has put him in the US charts for a fourth time – becoming the first artist in the history of the 26-year rap chart to have his first four singles appear simultaneously.

The first artist to achieve four parallel top 10s came in 2005 when 50 Cent climbed 16-10 as a feature on The Game’s “Hate It Or Love It”, joining three other tracks – two as a lead and one additional feature.

“Nothing but greatest is coming from this for me”, he told Boombox back in February.
