Cape Cod Weather: The Forecast for August 22nd, 2015

Winds will be gusty with speeds perhaps as high as 31 miles per hour, forecasters say.

Sunday: Showers, thunderstorms after 2pm.

Tuesday: Sunny. Highs around 80 degrees. High near 85. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 miles per hour. South southwest wind 5 to 8 miles per hour. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. North wind 9 to 13 miles per hour. Expect a minimum of a 30% rain chance any given day this week.

A mostly sunny Sunday with a high temperature reaching the mid 80s is in the forecast for the Harrisburg area. West wind 6 to 11 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Urban areas and foothill ridges will be slow to cool off Tuesday night, with low temperatures remaining in the 60s. Winds: South-southeast 2-7 miles per hour. Some spots can see a brief downpour but showers should mainly be short lived throughout the day. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Wind: SE 5-10 knots. Most of us will stay dry today, but that’ll likely change for tomorrow as we have a better chance for a few showers and thunderstorms.
