Gears of War designer Cliff Bleszinski teases announcement for his next game

Cliff Bleszinski’s new project to be revealed this week [VG 24/7].

Nexon has opened a teaser website for something from Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski, with multiple reveal events scheduled this week ahead of something major to which the site is counting down. Exactly what the game often referred to as Project Bluestreak is about is unknown, but we don’t have to wait long to find out.

Now, it seems, Bleszinski is ready to show his new baby to the world. There’s also an intimidating countdown clock that will end once that third video goes up Wednesday.

Luckily this is far from unfamiliar territory for Bleszinski – with the designer working for Epic Games for almost 20 years, known for having a prominent role in Unreal Tournament games and the Gears of War franchise.

While the teaser site is called “The Shattering”, don’t be fooled, as the game’s title is still tentatively Project Bluestreak. He left Epic in 2012.

We know whatever is being revealed is related to Boss Key, thanks to a forum post by community manager Rohan Rivas.
