They say the body of an adult male had been there for a period of time.

Authorities are investigating after a decomposing body was found outside a restaurant in West Hartford.
It was a little after 5:30 when West Hartford police received the call.
“Officers were dispatched to the Red Robin lot earlier today on a report of possibly a body in the vehicle and a heavy odor coming out of the auto”, said Detective Sgt.
They are working with Farmington police, who have a missing person case related to the auto, Rocheleau said.
The investigation appears to be focused on a red Honda Civic with Georgia license plates that one worker told News 8’s Jason Newton has been parked there for days. “It could be a medical condition, it could be a suicide, it could be a murder”.

“Obviously there’s a million different reasons that person could have ended up there”, Rocheleau said. However, police would not confirm that. “It’s suspicious in nature”.
