Jon Stewart strikes John Cena with a chair during WWE SummerSlam
The match was normal. It’s the chant they do for Semi Zyen. It’s a match we’ve seen over and over again for months now, and it’s never been engaging. The crowd is red hot.

According to oddschecker, The New Day are at a 5/4 clip with Prime Time Players at 7/5. In normal situation like this the heel takes the loss But WWE chose to save both.
Next up was Rusev vs Dolph Ziggler.
This wasn’t the first time Stewart played a short role in the WWE’s diverse storylines. The two are great performers, but together they don’t amount to much.
Lesnar, bleeding from the face, taunted The Undertaker as he made his way back into the ring and caught Lesnar by the throat with a choke slam, reversing the tides of the fight.
At the young age of 25, Brock became the youngest Heavyweight champ in the history of the WWE, defeating legendary Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at SummerSlam in 2002.
The announcers-and those in the audience-were left confused as to why Stewart would all of a sudden support his nemesis instead of the likable fella who’s granted over 400 Make-a-Wish dreams to sickly kids.
Elsewhere on the card, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns defeated The Wyatt Family in a fun tag team match. Rollins wants a bust of himself installed if he wins the match! The storyline had Jon Stewart turn heel on Cena and join the Authority. While his move succeeded, he accidentally clipped the referee in the process.
The action at last night’s WWE Summerslam pay-per-view certainly lived up to its massive billing but the event as a whole was greatly undermined by a series of odd finishes, most notably the interference by host Jon Stewart in the “Winner Takes All’ title match”. The chair was thrown to the ground and Cena was Pedigreed by Rollins to end the match and give the former NXT Champion the WWE United States Championship.
“So many WWE fans have been waiting by the hotel to catch a glimpse of the wrestlers”, the article stated, “that cops had set up a barricade on the street to keep everyone safe”. Finally, it’s in the way Owens gets in the win, a clean one, reestablishing him as a legitimate threat on this roster. Owens simply had to make the pin after that.
I like where things are going with Cena-Rollins and ‘Taker-Lesnar, but it would be nice to see the perimeter of top superstars expanded a bit. Still I love Undertaker.
When this match was originally booked, I was sure that Sheamus was cashing in. It says “WWE creatives are probably found of Sleeping during their meetings”. The referee was busy watching the other side and he didn’t saw it and went to argue with the time keeper.

The Undertaker then hooked in the Hell’s Gate, which led to Lesnar passing out to lose the bout.
