ESPN insider: Reggie Wayne taking phsyical with Patriots
The Patriots may finally be getting some help from the outside to replenish their quickly depleting corps of wide receivers.

“Former Colts WR Reggie Wayne arrived in New England last night and is taking a physical with the Patriots today, per league sources”, Schefter tweets.
Wayne said in July he wants to play at least one more season.
Wayne is the NFL’s active leader in receptions and receiving yards, and is third in touchdowns.
The 36 year old caught 64 passes for 779 yards in 15 regular season games for the Colts last season.
The only healthy receivers right now are veteran Danny Amendola, undrafted rookie Chris Harper, and roster longshots Jonathan Krause and Zach D’Orazio.

The New England Patriots are interested in signing Reggie Wayne in the ultimate troll move aimed at the Colts. He’s really a very dependable and reliable guy. He closed out the season with just one catch in Indy’s three postseason contests before having surgery on his triceps and knee this offseason, but he may get a chance to keep his NFL career going if the physical goes well and Belichick thinks his experience can help the Patriots this year. “Obviously the bigger the situation, the more you would depend on him to be able to make the play”. But if the Patriots sign Wayne after Week 1, only 25 percent of his salary becomes guaranteed.
