Police Violently Arrest Wiz Khalifa At LAX For Using A ‘Hoverboard’

Rapper Wiz Khalifa was back in a recording studio Monday, two days after being wrestled to the ground at Los Angeles worldwide Airport for riding what he called a hoverboard through a terminal.

Footage of Khalifa’s encounter with Customs and Border Patrol officers was captured by the rapper himself in a video he posted, Rolling Stone reports.

Not much is known about what happened but the recording artist posted video and a photo of an apparent detention, in which customs officials at Los Angeles worldwide Airport held him down on Saturday, after he refused to get off his hoverboard. An hour after the incident the “High School 2” actor tweeted a video of the incident, writing, “They love saying stop resisting”. Haven’t been slammed and cuffed in a while. ‘What you want to do? As he’s being handcuffed, Khalifa informs the officers that, “I’m not resisting”. What’re you going to do put me into jail because I’m not going to listen to what you say?

Jaime Ruiz, a US Customs and Border Protection spokesman, said Khalifa was handcuffed but not arrested.
