A school in Tamworth shocked a parents by refusing the leave application of their 10 year old daughter for attending in grandfather’s funeral. And they even said to parents “you will have to pay, $1680 fine if you do so”.

However, the principle of school later apologized for their behavior by saying ‘they hadn’t read the leave application correctly and thought that it was for some holiday’ and allowed the girl to go in her grandfather’s funeral. They even confirmed that there will be no any fine.
Later, in a talk, parents, Leigh and Gaynor Hodge, said “They are teaching children to read properly and they can’t even do it themselves”.
