Jennifer Lawrence’s career in the movie industry has been acknowledged as the highest paid work of an actress for this year by Forbes.

Lawrence raked in $52 million this year, according to the magazine, which noted that she also collects a nice paycheck for her sponsorship contract with Dior.

This year’s best paid actor, Robert Downey Jr., made an astounding amount of million. At only 25 years-old, Lawrence has banked $52 million pre-tax over the last 12 months. HerSpy” and “Tammy” movies reportedly grossed a total of $335 million globally, spurring her to have the largest annual income ever. The list has shown only four actresses to have surpassed the $20 million mark, adding controversy to the issue of pay gap among actors and actresses. Chinese actress Bingbing Fan, who appeared in “X-Men Days of Future Past”, ranked fourth, with earnings at $21 million. Third spot goes to Melissa McCarthy with $23 million. He earned $13 million. Fifth on the list was Jennifer Aniston with $16.5 million.

Numerous names on the list are mainstays who make fewer movies but still earn from endorsements. Her roles as a hero in both “The Hunger Games” and “X-Men” were the primary reasons why she is now considered as the highest paid actress in Hollywood. But, that’s because Forbes basically couldn’t find enough actresses with high salaries to round out the list, whereas they could have kept going and going with the group of highly-paid men.

Love her or hate her, Jennifer Lawrence made quite a lot more money than you, any of your friends or family and all of the rest of the actresses in the world during 2015.

Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway and Kristen Stewart rounded out the top 10, ranging from $12-16 million. Amy Pascal, Sony’s former co-chair, claimed in 2013 that the top female stars are getting paid the same as their counterparts.
