Likelihood Growing That Biden Will Run
“She will be a key advisor to me, a terrific asset to our office, and an important member of the entire White House organization”. That timetable is affected by the first Democratic debate; it’s scheduled for October 13th.

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden had a lot to catch up on.
“The president has spoke[n] at quite some length about the appreciation respect and admiration he has for the service of Secretary Clinton, particularly during her four years as secretary of state“, Earnest said, before once again pivoting to praise the vice president.
When asked whether Biden’s entrance into the race signals Clinton’s vulnerability, Sanders said, “I think the evidence is pretty clear, we are gaining”. There, he’d offer contrasts with Hillary Clinton and deliver a larger rationale for his candidacy.
Although Biden has not made up his mind yet, his advisers said the vice president and his aides have begun working out issues like fundraising and an early primary state strategy, according to an AP report.
“Following Alexander’s report, Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd touted Biden’s strategy: “…he’s looking for a groundswell. On the other hand, a one-term Biden presidency, with her as VP, would likely make her the clear front-runner in 2020. Lately, he became an idol to liberal activists who believes that the financial institutions are turning into too much influential in the routes to power.
“Her numbers are going down drastically, so somebody like Biden could probably go in and do very well and maybe win“, he said.
Still, even Mrs. Clinton’s supporters are unsure whether they have picked a victor as Mr. Sanders gains momentum and Mrs. Clinton continues to be dogged by a State Department email scandal. Joe would be a formidable opponent. “What I’m doing is I’m fighting for the families who are there in Massachusetts, the families who sent me”.
Earnest said he would not rule out an Obama endorsement in the Democratic primary and is confident he will back whoever ends up as the Democratic nominee.

“The network is starting to reach out”, said one major Obama fundraiser, who requested anonymity to discuss private conversations. And this morning, The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Biden is increasingly leaning toward a run if he can mount a competitive bid. “Anyone speculating that he has made a decision is wrong”, Kendra Barkoff, a Biden spokeswoman, told msnbc via email.
