Caitlyn Jenner Costume Is Nothing Short of Derogatory
“The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that”, Lombardo went on to tell The Huffington Post.

Jenner’s camp has yet to respond to the costume.
“At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes”, she said.
A costume company is under mounting pressure to scrap a Caitlyn Jenner Halloween outfit after it sparked outrage on Twitter.
“I will personally fight anyone wearing a Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume this year”, threatened one user.
If you pay attention to the unfortunate holiday known as Halloween, surely you’ve noticed the pop-up stores that suddenly start to appear like games of Whac-A-Mole at the beginning of fall in the city. And while some are saying that the costume “celebrates” Jenner, we all know what’s really going on.
However, a costume company has decided to take advantage of the situation by mocking the star’s transition – offering customers the chance to indulge in a little “Vanity” of their own.
Earlier this year, Caitlyn Jenner came out as transgender on the front cover of Vanity Fair, making history and becoming one of the most prominent transgender role models in the world.
However, the costume has already sparked a bitter backlash online.
Lisa Barr, senior director of marketing and creative at Spirit Halloween, explained that the costume is meant to celebrate the transgender icon – not make fun of her.

Addison Rose Vincent, a Transfeminine Genderqueer activist, launched a petition on Change.org asking for Spirit Halloween to cancel the launch of the offending product.
