According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department, Afghan terrorists fired rockets from Afghanistan to kill 4 Pakistani soldiers in Akhund Wala Check Post of Khyber Agency and injure 4.

“The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Islamabad, Mr. Janan Mosazai, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today”. Pakistan demanded of the Kabul to take measures on war-footing to put a curb on such cross-border attacks.
The ambassador was also requested to urge his government to ensure the safety and security of Pakistani personnel at the embassy and consulates and Pakistani diaspora in Afghanistan.
A day earlier, Kabul had summoned the Pakistani envoy in the country to inform him that Islamabad initiated the conflict that killed eight Afghan soldiers.
Local militants have fled ongoing military offensives since 2008, taking refuge across the border and attacking Pakistani military checkpoints and civilians from there.
The Afghan ambassador said that he would convey the message to the concerned authorities and look into this.
Afghanistan recently accused Pakistan of not doing enough to arrest Afghan Taliban leaders who have been meeting to decide on a successor to the group’s founder Mullah Mohammad Omar, whose death was confirmed last month. Afghan News Agency on Twitter, become a fan on Facebook.
A rocket-propelled grenade-7 and a few rounds of small arms were fired on the Angoor Adda gate from the Afghan side causing injuries to the soldiers, ISPR had said.
The incident happened in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber tribal region that borders eastern Afghanistan.
“A strong protest was also lodged on cross-border violations from the Afghan side on 16 and 17 August 2015, which resulted in death of three FC personnel and injuries to two others“, a FO statement said.

“We reiterate our resolve to closely coordinate with the Government of Afghanistan in this fight against our common enemy”, the statement concluded.
