‘Jackass’ star Steve-O faces jail sentence following ‘big dangerous’ SeaWorld

Jackass” star Steve-O was charged with a slew of misdemeanors for an anti-SeaWorld stunt where he climbed atop a crane and shot off fireworks in Hollywood.

Steve-O, real name Stephen Glover, was arrested on August. 9 in Los Angeles after climbing a 100-foot crane over Sunset Boulevard with an inflatable whale in protest of SeaWorld.

In accordance to US gossip web site TMZ, the L.A. City Lawyer has charged him with making a false emergency, use of unregistered fireworks, storing & possession of fireworks with out allow, & trespassing.

Prosecutors are working with police and fire department officials to determine how much restitution will be sought, Meteljan said Tuesday. The stuntman live-streamed the entire stunt online.

Fire crews responded around 8 p.m. that evening to 6094 W. Selma Ave. on a report of a person threatening to jump.

He is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
