Kobe Bryant Presents Taylor Swift With Championship Banner
Of all the various surprises that could be in store for Taylor Swift at any given moment, this was a pretty good one. On FRIDAY (8/21), The LAKERS’ KOBE BRYANT presented a special banner to recognize TAYLOR’s historic 16th sold-out show at the venue.

Bryant then pointed as the banner unfolded and Swift hugged him after to express her gratitude.
Swift selling out 16 shows at the Staples Center is reportedly, according to Bryant, more than any other artist around. Meanwhile, the Grammy award victor was later joined by One Republic’s Ryan Tedder and performed his band’s greatest hit “Counting Stars”. The Los Angeles Lakers star announced his return to the basketball floor on Instagram showing he is on his way back to recovery, and ready for the upcoming 2015 NBA season.

Too, she excitedly shared her snap with Kobe on the photo sharing site saying: “The screams you hear from an LA crowd when Kobe walks out onstage are so deafening…”
He added, “To celebrate those championships, we do something very special”. For that we raise a banner in your honor!

In Taylor’s previous 1989 Tour performances, she’s shocked concert goers with surpise star guests. For instance, during “How to Get the Girl”, Swift came out in a pink dress with lights, and her dancers had lighted umbrellas in a set that looked like an homage to “Dancing in the Rain”. And none of that would matter almost as much without the artistry that’s taken Swift from a sweet teenage country singer to a strong young woman, the writer of fierce anthems and universal love songs, and a performer who easily captivated her audience for 18 songs over almost two-and-a-half hours on Friday.
