The existence of a new hero handset from HTC has been circulating for a while and new images claiming to be that device have now surfaced. Photos purportedly showing the front and rear of the forthcoming smartphone reveal a case that’s extremely similar to the back of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
HTC’s latest flagship, the One (M9) has metal borders above and below the screen, so we might be seeing a total redesign of flagship HTC phones in 2015, which have barely changed since the One (M7) that was released in 2013. So in absence of other info, we have to assume that the Aero will be launched as the HTC A9 when the time comes. The report says that the phone will be powered by MediaTek’s deca-core Helio X20 chipset and will feature 2.5D curved class. The report says that the HTC A9 will be offered in Tyrant Gold and Dark Gray, priced in a range between $470 United States dollars and $626 USD. These specs are far from certain though, and we may see some differences when the handset is (hopefully) announced this October.

Still, it is hard to envision any single phone overcoming HTC’s present money crisis even with Apple’s outline in play.
