ESPN removes Curt Schilling from Little League World Series broadcast after
The former Red Sox pitcher became a trending topic on Twitter Tuesday after sharing a meme comparing Muslims to Nazis, and featuring Adolf Hitler’s image.

It’s not the first time Schilling has found himself in hot water for his social media posts.
Schilling’s attempt at commentary likened demographic “statistics” about Muslim extremism to those from Nazi Germany.
Schilling quickly deleted the tweet, and as of this morning, he hasn’t issued any sort of follow up or apology.
We’ve reached out to ESPN for comment, and were told that they are looking into the matter.
“Curt’s tweet was completely unacceptable, and in no way represents our company’s perspective”, said the ESPN statement released Tuesday afternoon.
After the internet roasted Schilling for the tweet, ESPN suspended him indefinitely from their Little League World Series coverage – without saying it in so many words.
