Reggie Wayne Taking Physical With Patriots
New England defeated Indianapolis 42-20. The Patriots can’t directly strike the Colts in the offseason, but they can pester them by doling out a hilarious troll in the form of signing a former franchise star.

Last season, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick spoke well of Wayne, suggesting that he would certainly welcome the veteran receiver to his team. Not only would he add depth to the receiving corps, but it’s the ultimate troll for the Patriots to throw at the Colts over this whole DeflateGate nonsense. A report from NBC Sports confirms that Wayne is in New England, and that he could become a great weapon for quarterback Tom Brady to work with.
Wayne is the NFL’s active leader in receptions and receiving yards, and is third in touchdowns.
Wayne, 36, had surgery to fix a torn triceps in February, an injury he played through last season but severely limited his production.
“He’s still really good at everything”, Belichick said in November”.
IF there was a place for Wayne to sign, New England seems to be that place. The former Pro Bowl receiver who made a spectacular career with the Colts catching passes from Peyton Manning is expected to undergo a physical Sunday in Foxboro.
