No asteroid threatening Earth in September ‘NASA’

Among all potentially risky asteroids, there is only a 0.01% chance that one of them will cause such damage on our planet over the next 100 years, the scientist explained.

Rumors of asteroids, earthquakes and more have populated the Internet.

The odds of dying in an asteroid impact are 1 in 700,000. “In fact, not a single one of the known objects has any credible chance of hitting our planet over the next century”.

NASA added that this is not the first time, rumors of a celestial object impacting Earth have been made, and unfortunately it won’t be the last.

John Bowne from the famously conspiracist site InfoWars said: “Of course NASA is denying this, but why would they tell us anything?” In 2011, the source of the hysteria centered on the so-called “doomsday” comet, which never posed a threat to Earth- it broke up into a small debris stream in space.

Next, in 2012, there were various prophetic conspiracies for which NASA had to issue multiple denials and to be very frank, none of these prophesies occurred in reality including the Mayan calendar!

“Once more, there isn’t any present proof that an asteroid or another celestial object is on a trajectory that may influence Earth”, stated Chodas.

NASA was forced to speak publicly this week to settle an unfounded rumor about an imminent clash of an asteroid on Earth.

NASA pointed to the various rumors about world-wrecking rocks that have been spread over the years, asserting that such false narratives will continue and education is its best tool in discounting them. And to be fair, the number of “follow” buttons on the space agency’s social media page is enough to make any normal human need a lie down. According to telescopes used to monitor celestial bodies, NASA states that the estimated paths of asteroids and comets pass 30 million miles away from our planet.

It is known that at least six near-Earth asteroids will pass close to Earth between September 22 and September 28.

He has been discussing his “asteroid prophecy” for about five years, although he has neglected to pin a date on his apocalypse predictions.
