It’s believed to be a right knee injury for Scandrick, who was crying as he was carted off the field.

The Dallas Cowboys reportedly fear that cornerback Orlando Scandrick has torn his ACL.

After Scandrick and Whitehead collided, it was apparently obvious to Cowboys players that he suffered a serious injury, with Dallas QB Tony Romo taking to Twitter to say that he fears it was a torn ACL. It’s 32s knee. Not good. Scandrick was said to have sustained the injury in a collision with a teammate. That’s truly bad news for the team, as the defense, which ranked No. 19 in yards allowed and No. 15 in points allowed past year, is one of the biggest question marks heading into the season. Scandrick was by far the Cowboys best DB and was looking to lead the secondary to a Super Bowl run, but will now be replaced by Brandon Carr, Mo Claiborne and 2015 first round pick Bryon Jones. “I know that feeling”.

The Dallas Cowboys may have suffered a significant blow with only two short weeks left until the start of the 2015 NFL season. In his career, he has seven interceptions.
