LLWS: Sweetwater Valley Little League falls to Texas

When the Pearland Little League takes on the Sweetwater Valley Little League from California Sunday afternoon, team manager Andrew Solomon knows his boys have to be sharp.

Andrade was charged with the loss, allowing five runs (four earned) and five hits in 2 2/3 innings.

In 4-2/3 innings, Gottfried limited Sweetwater Valley’s high-powered offense to one run on seven strikeouts, and just three hits.

That games is scheduled for 5 p.m. (PT) Tuesday and will be televised on ESPN2.
