PM Nawaz to set out 2-day visit to Kazakhstan on Tuesday
Responding to a question, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan supported the Conference for Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) process and actively participated in its activities.

PMNHIP includes treatment of seven major diseases including Cardiovascular, Diabetes, Emergency and Trauma (Life and limb saving including Implants and prosthesis and Road Traffic Accidents), Burns, End Stage renal disease, Organ Failure Management (Hepatic, Renal, Cardio-Pulmonary, except transplants), Chronic Infections complications (HCV and HBV Complications and HIV complications) and Oncological diseases. However, heads of all parliamentary parties had advised the government not to accept the resignations and hold dialogue with the MQM.
Prime Minister Sharif reportedly said during the meeting that the operation was not against any political party rather it was targeting only the criminals and it will continue till all the anti-social elements are crushed. The delegation voiced out MQM’s viewpoint vis-à-vis Karachi operation. According to reports, the MQM delegation apprised the prime minister and the government delegation of their reservations and demands over the ongoing Karachi operation. He said an impartial operation in Karachi was in the interest of all the stakeholders including MQM. The Prime Minister noted that despite enormous economic complementarities, bilateral trade between Pakistan and Kazakhstan was below the actual potential.
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, federal ministers Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Akram Khan Durrani and Muhammad Ameer Zaman, MNA, attended the meeting on behalf of the government.
MQM’s delegation under Farooq sattar includes Shabbir Qaim Khani, Barrister Saif and Wasim Akhter. He also confirmed that his party’s lawmakers would withdraw their resignations.
To another question, the Prime Minister said that they had launched the Operation Zarb-e-Azb to eradicate the menace of extremism and terrorism and it was successfully going on.

The Interior Minister said the overall security situation in the country has improved considerably.
