“They jumped out, they subdued him, grabbed the trooper’s handcuffs and put them on the suspect”.
“One of the guys said, ‘Don’t go down there”.
LeDoux relayed his story to The Associated Press in an exclusive interview Monday.
The man accused of killing a Louisiana state trooper has been moved from a hospital to the Calcasieu (KAL-kuh-shoo) Parish jail.
Before joining the state police, Vincent served almost 10 years with the Lake Charles Police Department, police said. Mind your own business. “I watched Kevin Daigle walk from his pickup truck”.

The shooting was recorded on Vincent’s dash-cam. James Anderson said Monday. “We really don’t have a lot of answers”.
Vincent, a veteran trooper, is married and a father of one.
The suspect faces various charges, including attempted first degree murder of a police officer. According to USA Today, Trooper Vincent ran Daigle’s license plates and determined that it matched a vehicle that had been cited as a “reckless vehicle”.
However on Monday authorities obtained a telephone name from the person’s workplace saying he had not proven up for work and asking police to examine on him. Daigle’s roommate was found dead in their home Monday.
“We had no warrant”.
Calcasieu Parish officials have identified the man found dead in Kevin Daigle’s home as Blake Brewer, 54.
“As an organization, we are heartbroken over this senseless and tragic death”, the statement said.
Vincent, 43, is in critical condition after the shooting in Lake Charles on Sunday, said Col. Mike Edmonson, superintendent of Louisiana State Police. 14 just outside Bell City.

At that point in the video, Edmonson said, “I saw a shotgun blast”.
“You might hear him respiration, telling him, ‘You are fortunate”.
Gov. Bobby Jindal has issued an executive order calling for state buildings to fly flags at half-staff until Friday. “You’re lucky – you’re going to die soon.’ Those are the words that came out of his mouth”, Edmonson said.
Police say Daigle shot and killed a state police officer Sunday night.
“This is why police approach people and they give directive action”.
“Tragically these things happen far too often around the country”. One of his brothers was a police chief in Iowa, Louisiana, and another brother is a state trooper.
