Hosted by Zachary Quinto, the featurette finds the cast and crew of Star Trek Beyond honoring the legacy of the late Leonard Nimoy and the impact he made in the decades he played Spock.

Leonard Nimoy may have gone into the Beyond, but his presence is still felt today. More information about the campaign, which benefits nine different non-profit organizations can be found on the Omaze website.

The clip goes on to promote a charity near and dear to Nimoy – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is one of the nine beneficiaries of the Omaze campaign. The video ends with the cast of Star Trek Beyond offering the customary Vulcan “Live long and prosper” salute.

“Through his legendary portrayal of Spock, he influenced countless scientists and artists – myself and the rest of the cast included”, Quinto added.

Following his emotional tribute, the actor then called upon his fans to support the very same charity that Nimoy himself was an advocate and supporter of. The members of this honorary crew will visit the set, hang with the cast, and watch as they film scenes from the new film.

By donating, fans are entered for a chance to win a walk-on role in the upcoming “Star Trek” flick.
