The Games with Gold promotion has been around for some time now, and through it Microsoft has rewarded its loyal Xbox Live Gold subscribers with an array of free titles across the Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.

Before that, though, Xbox One owners can look forward to pixel art adventure The Deer God on September 1.
Remember, with Xbox 360 games, they’re only available for two weeks, for whatever reason. This is an action and real-time tactics game that expands on the Battlestations: Midway.
Battlestations Pacific places players in the middle of the Second World War’s great Pacific Theatre battles. At that point, it will be replaced by Crytek’s futuristic shooter Crysis 3, which will be available on the Games with Gold service from September 16 right up until September 30.
The epic Crysis 3 is an FPS that lets you play inside a super-suit that just happens to be incredibly powerful and also customisable.
EF will bring you news of the Games with Gold titles for October towards the end of September.

Also on tap for the Xbox One is the Kickstarted indie game, The Dear God, a pixelated 2-D platformer that explores that seeks to challenge your views on religion by exploring the themes of karma and reincarnation. It hasn’t been confirmed whether this will be the case.
