Just 23, Son Heung-Min has the potential to become a world class player in the coming years and his signing can be seen as a very positive one by Tottenham. “At this moment he is our player”, he told Sky.

We reported this afternoon that according to Cologne-based Sports Newspaper, Kolner Stadt-Anzeiger Leverkusen had accepted an offer and the South Korean will travel to London for a medical. After departure of Soldado and Adebayor no longer in first team picture, N’jie has been the only attacking signing to support Harry Kane for Spurs.

He sprung to prominence at Hamburg, the Bundesliga giants having drafted him into their youth ranks in 2008.

Son joined Leverkusen for £7.3m at the start of the 2013/14 season, and has scored 21 times in 62 league games for the Bundesliga side, as well as 5 goals in 17 Champions League appearances. He can operate as a winger as well as a second striker and has good goal return for the teams he has played.
