Jason Day tweaks back, withdraws from pro

Day is second in the FedEx Cup standings and tees off with Spieth and Bubba Watson. But it’s already been memorable. Watson didn’t arrive at Plainfield with high expectations.

“After playing seven holes today, it became evident that he needed to leave the course and get as much rest as possible before tomorrow’s opening round”, the spokesman said, reports Reuters.

“I would certainly set it as something I want to achieve more so than just any regular event, definitely”.
