According to the report, Businessman Pitak Riangsima, 40, was driving his supercar at 90mph in heavy rain when he lost control and the car slammed into a tree with such force that the luxury car ripped in two.

And the most amazing thing was that the car driver, Mr. Riangsima, left alive with some injuries.

Later, Mr. Riangsima, who is the owner of a US-based networking marketing company Unicity, said that he was alive because of the Buddhist amulet that he wore during accident.

He added that he had stopped by a temple on his way, where the rare amulet – which had once belonged to a highly-revered monk – was given to him by a friend.
