Captain America: Civil War’s Rival Superhero Teams Revealed
Meanwhile, Iron Man’s team was a little short-handed with War Machine (Don Cheadle), Vision (Paul Bettany) and surprisingly, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and eventually Spider-Man, which makes sense since we heard that the webslinger comes to blows with Captain America in the movie at some point. But, it looks like the official concept art reveals a different set of Avengers on each side of the battle.

Captain America: Civil War is set for release on April 29th 2016 in the UK and May 6th 2016 in the States, with Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) directing a cast that includes Marvel Cinematic Universe veterans Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Robert Downey Jr.
“Civil War” star Jeremy Renner has taken to Twitter to debut the images which you can check out below.
“Civil War” may have just revealed which superheroes are taking sides. Sadly, Spider-Man is not a part of this lineup (Marvel is reportedly highly protective of his look in the film) and has been replaced by Black Panther. Iron Man is looking very similar to the Bleeding Edge version from the comics.
Noticably, there is no Scarlet Witch or Elizabeth Olsen in this artwork, even though the D23 trailer shows her with Captain America’s team.
On Team Captain America, we’ve got Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Falcon (Sam Wilson), the Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes), and Sharon Carter. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that new superhero was neutral while promoting “Ant-Man” earlier this summer.

And hopefully, you’ll all be with Cap, too when Captain American: Civil War opens May 6th, 2016. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
