Microsoft Snip brings Windows screenshots to life with voice and ink

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has improved its screenshot-taking capabilities for Windows users with the new Snip tool. It can turn an ordinary screenshot into a screen tutorial, or just a neat way to share your thoughts about a document or image over the web.

Microsoft Snip is a sole app that allows you to record your voice and sketch your own screen.

This beta app promises to liven up your screen captures with text, drawings, and audio narration. Snip is a little buggy right now, but it’s still a great improvement over what’s included with Windows out of the box.

With its latest Snip tool, users can now do much more with their screenshots. The library of snipped content created by the tool called Snips is comparable to the library of Sway content captures in design created by the Microsoft Sway tool. A basic capture is copied to the clipboard, but is automatically transformed into an MP4 file if audio is added.

According to research results, Microsoft evidently blueprints to ensure that you get the Snip apps as Office Mix, which generally to date has essentially looked an arrangement extraneous utilities for Clinque. Otherwise, all screenshots are stored locally by default.

It has been noted by The Verge report that although there are a number of other tools for Windows which lets you capture screenshots, they are all not available for free.
