Big Brother’s Rylan Clark hoping for Transatlantic fireworks

“I love it. I’m so excited my willy’s gone amusing”. We’re suddenly feeling all patriotic, guys.

I’ll throw my hands up and say I was gripped, but can anybody actually say they got any enjoyment out of it?

Speaking from inside the newly revamped house at the official launch of this year’s show, he said of the US celebrity blogger: “If Perez was in this house, I think he’d be scared”.

At the moment the UK look set to win in the battle between Britain and America with a 1/2 chance of triumphing over the yankees, who have been put in with a 6/4 chance.

Adding that in an ideal world, he would do the job he does now but (somehow) be unrecognisable when he’s out and about, he continued, “I wish people only knew who I was when I’m on the telly”. We’re stocking up on popcorn as we speak awaiting for the drama to kick-off and the celebs to be at each other’s throats.

Moreover, to presumably hype the fans up, the first look of the new arrangement in the house has been revealed showing a lot of stripes, stars, blues and reds. “We don’t want you to stay and shoot yourself in the foot”, he told Metro.

And that’s the thing – I’m not suggesting I want to see the celebrities sitting cross-legged in the living room singing “Kumbaya” together (unless, of course, it’s a part of some class of fabulous task). But there has to be more than that to make it enjoyable.

The show kicks off later tomorrow night on Channel 5.

Meanwhile, the new series comes with an extra helping of patriotism and the UK are now 1/2 favourite on Betfair Sportsbook as they go head to head with housemates from across the pond. Blimmin’ celebrities get them handed to them on a plate.

Just focus on bringing us some laughs, and making the series as enjoyable as possible. Probably along with their weekly spray tans and manicures.
