LG has also confirmed that its G2, G3 and G4 smartphones will receive Marshmallow, but made no mention of the G Flex 2 which was launched at Mobile World Congress in March this year.

We also expect the battery to be at least 3000Mah, which in the older version of the Nexus 5 was just 2200Mah.

According to earlier reports, the LG Nexus 2015 would have a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 4-megapixel camera on the front that comes with iris scanning technology.

The processor used in the Nexus 5 is likely going to be the Snapdragon 808 by Qualcomm. Usually, Google unveils the new Nexus devices in October so we may have to wait a little longer for the handset to make an official appearance. We’ve heard a lot of reports for the 2015 Nexus 5 release date, but the latest one claims we have less than a month until we will be able to get our hands on the highly-anticipated smartphone. According to Android Authority, the phone is expected to have a 13MP rear camera instead of 15MP, although it added that it will feature optical image stabilization and LG’s laser auto-focus technology. It is expected to come with a fingerprint reader on its back and a USB Type-C port. It will reportedly have 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. The case doesn’t reveal anything new, but does show us that there’s still a cutout for that circular spot on the rear of the phone, further indicating that it’s a fingerprint scanner. The device should operate on the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow that should be ready by the time the device gets its finishing touches.

Meanwhile, the next-gen Nexus 5 will include a better front camera with 5-megapixel sensor and f/2.0 aperture, based on a selfie taken and shared by a purported Google employee last week. The Huawei model will come out to replace the Google Nexus 6 from 2014.
