Taylor Swift Invites Lisa Kudrow to Sing ‘Smelly Cat’

Swift brought out Alanis Morissette to perform a duet of “You Oughta Know”, which was the indie singer’s first major hit in 1995. Swift has posted later on her Instagram about Timberlake’s appearance, “I have no way to deal with this”. On Monday, it was Ellen DeGeneres.

She proceeded to give her a short singing lesson before they jumped back into the 18,000 person sing-a-long. In one episode, the eccentric Buffay performed her ode to hygienically challenged felines at the fictional coffee shop Central Perk.

Valerie Cherish would surely be seething with envy over Buffay’s Comeback gig.

And of course, while Taylor proving she will always be there for her friends, she also shared a special moment with her girl posse Cara Delevigne, Kendall Jenner and Karlie Kloss. It’s a pretty genius way of internationalizing each performance during a tour – and it also happens to be rather fun for everyone else.

Taylor’s been bringing out all sorts of celebrity guests during her “1989 World Tour” over the past year but we think Lisa may be our favourite yet!

At one point, “Phoebe” even offered Taylor some tips on how to perform the song, telling her she was doing ok but she had “to really feel the lyrics”.

Swift’s run at the Staples Center helped her reach a record-breaking 16 sold-out shows at the venue. Swift has continually made headlines this summer, performing with artists Lorde and Walk the Moon along her tour route. I just am so happy that he would dedicate his night to coming out and playing for you guys.
