With the latest update to Play Services which should bring users to version 8.1, Google is laying the groundwork for Android Pay to be up and running by adding the necessary bits and pieces into the Play Services apk which started updating for a small number of people last week.
The only problem is this feature has to be turned on by Google before it becomes accessible. Now, when you go back to your settings, then you’ll see that the Android Pay option will not be there anymore.
