“It was not potential to go on with the flight, so the pilot determined to land in Denver”, he stated.
The trouble started when it transpired a woman on a Condor Airline flight from Las Vegas to Frankfurt last week had brought her cat onto the plane in her purse, according to other passengers. He said he could not release details on the number of passengers.
KCNC-TV reports (http://cbsloc.al/1Uok4FC ) that the woman asked for access to her so called “comfort cat” she had taken on board the flight. Fighter jets were called from Buckley Air Force Base to escort the plane.
The plane was diverted to Denver with an escort from two F-16s after a flight attendant was reportedly struck by the screaming woman.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation advised ABC Information that the incident was a “misunderstanding”, and no one was arrested or taken into custody, however no different particulars have been out there.
