2 killed in shooting; nearby college put on lockdown
The shooting also forced the closure of a Kent State satellite campus which went on lockdown for a short period before school officials canceled evening classes.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 2400 block of Sherwin Drive in Twinsburg. The shooter was among those killed at the scene. The condition of the second victim wasn’t immediately available.
Police said they were confronted by an armed suspect when they arrived.
The officer who shot Charles Shaw is a 3 1/2 year veteran of the Twinsburg Police. That man was shot dead by a Twinsburg police officer. Two died, including a father and son.
Twinsburg police announced the new information in a press release Wednesday morning. County property records reportedly indicate that Robert Shaw and Nancy Shaw owned the home, according to NewsNet5. The third person was grazed by a bullet.

TFD police and fire officials have said the “shooter is no longer shooting”, though no arrests have been made and the status of the shooter is unclear. Twinsburg Police and Fire units responded to the scene.
