Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 plotting big update for returning fans

Confirming the previous leak on the Brazilian PlayStation Store, Activision has announced that the Nuketown bonus map will be available to anyone who pre-orders Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

However, there are no plans for the same map to appear on either the PlayStation or Xbox 360 versions.

Previously rumored (and hoped to be true by many), Nuketown is making an appearance in Black Ops III, however, it’s evidently gone through some pretty drastic changes, keeping the map up to date with 2065 standards, in which the game is set.

Nuk3town in Black Ops 3 marks the third remake of the original Nuketown map that became extremely popular during the heyday of the first Black Ops.

Most of the gamers who have played the beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 have been very happy with the new feel of the game, but some veterans are complaining that it is too fast and gives them too little space to actually try tactics. Even though the franchise continues to dominate the sales charts, the fact remains that each iteration of Call of Duty since Black Ops 2 is seeing less sales.

Millions of gamers downloaded and played the beta, which provided critical feedback and technical data at scale for the Treyarch development team to fine-tune the game in preparation for the November 6 launch of Black Ops III. Those that want the Nuk3town map on day one will have to pre-order the game for PC, PS4, or Xbox One.
