An Australian hospital had accidentally sent death notices to families of 200 patients, who were in alive in their hospital.

According to the report, the Australia’s second most popular hospital, Austin Hospital, sent death notices to families of 200 patients by mistakenly.
The notices were the result of an inadvertent change to the templates the hospital sends to doctors and families once a patient has been discharged, operator Austin Health said in a statement.
However, the hospital apologized for the inconvenience caused to the families.
The Australian Medical Association said the error was unacceptable and potentially distressing to family doctors, while an opposition lawmaker said it was symptomatic of an overworked health system.
